PA / high-impactNylon 12 Tough trades some stiffness for a big gain in ductility and impact resistance. Where standard nylon might crack under a sharp load or repeated flexing, the tough grade bends and recovers. That makes it the right call for enclosures that get dropped, clips and snap fits that flex on every use, and parts that live in a rough environment.

- Choose the tough grade when the part flexes, snaps, or takes impact, snap fits, living hinges, drop-prone housings. Choose standard Nylon 12 when stiffness and dimensional rigidity matter more than ductility.
- Can it handle repeated flexing?
- That is its strength. Nylon 12 Tough is ductile and impact resistant, so it holds up to snap-fit cycling and living-hinge use far better than a stiffer nylon.
- Is there a minimum order?
- No minimum. With no tooling to build, we print a single part or a full run on the same line.
- What finishing is available?
- A media-blasted matte finish as standard, with vapor smoothing for a sealed, smoother surface. No dyeing.
