3D printing for
Zeeland, MI.
Large format printed custom furniture and seating, and on-demand SLS parts and fixtures, for the heart of West Michigan's furniture industry.
Made for a furniture town.
Zeeland and the surrounding lakeshore are the center of an office-furniture and seating industry that West Michigan is known for worldwide. That is exactly the work large format additive is built for. A studio can print a full-scale prototype chair to prove a design, or a short run of statement pieces with forms a mold could never draft, and have the key surfaces machined to a finished feel. On the production side, SLS turns out the functional fixtures, jigs, and end-use nylon parts that furniture makers need on the floor, with no tooling and no minimums.

Common questions
- Can you prototype a furniture design at full scale?
- Yes. Large format additive prints full-size furniture, so a chair or table design can be proven at real scale, then key surfaces machined to a finished feel, all before any tooling is cut.
- Do you handle one-off pieces and short runs?
- Both. With no tooling to cut, a single custom piece and a short production run print on the same cell, which suits bespoke and limited-run furniture work.
